Artificial intelligence as the key to increasing efficiency in industry

Areas of application range from predictive maintenance and automated documentation to customized products and new data-based business models. The East Westphalia-Lippe (OWL) region is considered a pioneer in the industrial use of AI. With strong networks such as it's OWL and initiatives such as the “Engineering Automation” High-Performance Center, it offers companies practical support in implementing AI solutions. Nevertheless, experts still see a considerable need for support, particularly in the development of clear AI strategies and the establishment of the necessary skills.
