Successful appearance at Systems Engineering Day 2025 in Salzburg
The Engineering Automation High-Performance Center was represented at the "Systems Engineering Day" conference in several ways: with its own booth, in tutorial sessions, and as a speaker. Topics such as “Toward a Capability-Based Digital Engineering Target Vision,” “Toward a GenAI Supported Systems Engineering Competency Assessment,” and “Can LLMs Do Model-Based Systems Engineering?” were on the agenda.
In a series of interactive tutorials, our colleague Ulf Könemann gave a practical introduction into planning company-specific training courses in systems engineering and AI-supported SE methods using SysML 2.0 as an example. Additionally, Fabian Wyrwich moderated the “Systems Engineering Best Practice Circle (SE-BPC)” – a platform for experts to exchange experiences.
Participation in Systems Engineering Day, organized by the Society for Systems Engineering e.V. under the motto “Future with System,” provided an ideal opportunity to showcase the research and transfer expertise of the Engineering Automation High-Performance Center and to establish new contacts in industry and research.
Our diverse involvement in Salzburg underscores our goal: to translate research results directly into practice and strengthen companies in the engineering environment. We will take the ideas and discussions from the conference with us into our next collaborations and transfer projects.
